Liang Zhao is a PhD researcher at Amsterdam Business School, University of Amsterdam. Liang’s research topic is focusing on reward-based crowdfunding in mainland China, probing the interactive mechanism of crowdfunding platforms, investors, and entrepreneurs. His multi-dimensional study looks at questions of trust and e-trust, institutional support, investing behavior, community formation and cultural characteristics in the development of Chinese crowdfunding industry. He is aiming at offering useful practical tips for Chinese crowdfunding practitioners thus prospering Chinese crowdfunding market.
